Rugby: Lismore kick sand in Portobello's face with narrow win

Lismore leapfrogged rivals Portobello into third place in East One on Saturday after a 29-24 win at Cavalry Park.

Portobello started the season with four victories in a row, but have now lost their last three matches to sit fourth. Lismore on the other hand have now won their last two matches and are scoring some good tries ahead of this coming weekend's home match against Dunbar.

The East Lothian men will head into that one confident too though after they fought hard to defeat second place Hawick Harlequins 11-10 at Hallhill.
