Rugby: Leonard eyes U-20 successs

HARRY LEONARD aims to cap a memorable rugby week by leading Scotland under-20s to their first win over Irish counterparts since 2009 at Inverness tonight.

The 18-year-old Boroughmuir play-maker has been elevated to the captaincy just a few days after earning an elite development contract with Edinburgh.

Scotland under-20 assistant coach Simon Cross says: "He has an excellent mentor at Boroughmuir in Phil Smith which has helped."
