Rugby: Heriot's ace Dymock aims to silence brother

ALAN DYMOCK has warned that brotherly love will be temporarily suspended when Dundee High visit Heriot's in the Scottish rugby premiership on Saturday.

While Scotland clubs' international prop Dymock lines up on one side of the front row, his brother, Neil, will be on the other. Also, another brother, Andy, will be at scrum-half for the visitors.

"It is going to be tough for Heriot's because the way Dundee are playing we could be slight underdogs which is unusual when Scottish Cup holders like us meet a promoted team," says Alan. It should also be quite a day for dad, Tom, who is a past coach and president of Dundee High.

"Dad doesn't do fence sitting. He wants Dundee to win but qualifies that by saying he hopes I play well," continued Alan.

"Heriot's really will have to be on guard even though we have won our last three matches by returning to a more basic style.

"In Barry Jones our visitors have a player who kicks plenty of goals, while the front row will also see a heavyweight clash between our Wullie Blacklock and their Alan Brown."
