Rugby: Greig Laidlaw gets Scotland call-up for All Blacks clash

Edinburgh scrum half Greig Laidlaw has been called up to the Scotland bench for Saturday's clash with the All Blacks at Murrayfield after Rory Lawson failed to recover from a hand injury.

Mike Blair will skipper the side at scrum half but 25-year-old Laidlaw would earn his first cap if he came on as a substitute against the New Zealanders, who Scotland have never beaten.

Laidlaw is the nephew of Grand Slam-winning scrum half Roy Laidlaw, while the man he replaces, Lawson, is the grandson of legendary commentator, the late Bill McLaren.
