Rugby: Boroughmuir given a harsh Grammar lesson in Aberdeen

Heriot’s were 17-0 in arrears at the break but battled their way into a two point lead with two tries from Fraser Brown and one by Max Learmonth, while Graham Wilson kicked two conversions and a penalty. However, the hosts struck with the final action of the game when home stand off Cam Brown slotted a penalty to snatch victory.

There was an equally tight affair at Inverleith where Division Two pacesetters Stewart’s Melville were last-ditch 21-20 winners against Selkirk.

In Division Three, Lasswade were on the road to face Cartha Queens Park but lost 41-7.

Haddington also suffered another loss, this time by 22-5 at home to Greenock Wanderers.
