Rugby: Atkin four-midable in Broughton rout

JAMES ATKIN led the way with four tries as Broughton won 133-0 against Liberton on Saturday to make sure they ended the first half of the season with a 100 per cent record.

The Wardie men have a nine-point lead at the top of East Two after nine matches and have scored 427 points and let in just 66 as they aim to return to East One at the first attempt.

More than 200 of those points have come in the last two weeks after an 84-0 win at Queensferry was followed up by Saturday's home mauling of Liberton.
