Rovers complete win after early setback

HAWICK opened the scoring after nine minutes when, from a Robertson corner kick, Urey blocked a Shiel shot on the Peebles goalline before Ross Wallace slammed the loose ball home from close range.

Peebles equalised ten minutes later when James Innes found the roof of the Albert net with a sweet volley from 16 yards.

Peebles added a second goal after 27 minutes when, from a Urey right-wing cross, Kevin Martin coolly drilled the ball past a diving Walker from 12 yards. Peebles scored a third goal three minutes later when, from a Montgomery right-wing cross, Elliot Black gave Walker no chance with a glancing header from six yards.

Play continued to go from end to end as Walker foiled Montgomery and Henderson with fine saves while Rashrash was just off target from 20 yards.

Both Parker and Shiel missed a chance to reduce the deficit just seconds after the break.
