Rocks see off Kool Kats to secure double

GLASGOW Rocks completed a league and cup double after coming from behind to beat holders Edinburgh Kool Kats 76-61 in last night's Women's Scottish Cup final at the Pleasance in Edinburgh.

The lead continually changed hands from the tip-off, but Kool Kats led 36-30 at half time, despite losing all four of this season's league meetings between the teams.

The Rocks levelled midway through the third quarter and forged 12 points clear with ten minutes left before nursing their lead through to the final buzzer.
