Robert Garrigus makes a perfect ten

Robert Garrigus shot a stunning 10-under round of 63 to go top of the leaderboard at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.

Garrigus, who was four under after Friday's opening round, played a near faultless hand yesterday to close one stroke ahead of joint overnight leader Carl Petterson.

The American shot four consecutive birdies between the third and sixth holes, as well as picking up strokes at ten and 12 and then found an eagle at the par-four 16th.

Ian Poulter improved in his opening 70 by two strokes, but remains six off the lead, one ahead of Graeme McDowell.
