Remembering a legend: Special tribute at Bill McLaren Celeb Am tournament

The 16th hole at Hawick Golf Club has been renamed McLaren's Miracle in tribute to the hole-in-one scored there by legendary rugby commentator Bill McLaren, who died in January.

Yesterday rugby players with a total of over 600 Scotland caps and 11 British and Irish Lions, among them Jim Renwick, Roy Laidlaw, Keith Robertson and Gregor Townsend, were in Hawick for the inaugural Bill McLaren Celeb Am Golf Tournament, sponsored by Sainsbury's, to raise funds for The Bill McLaren Foundation.
