Real Madrid lose Cristiano Ronaldo for three weeks

Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo injured his ankle in his team's opening La Liga match on Sunday, a 0-0 draw with Mallorca, and will be out for three weeks.

Ronaldo, 25, will miss Portugal's 2012 European Championship qualifiers against Cyprus and Norway. He will also miss Real's next league match against Osasuna and their Champions League group game against Ajax.
