Rallying: RallyScotland attracts big names

A SCOTSMAN, an Englishman and an Irishman are expected to be the big attractions in the second running of RallyScotland after entries opened for the three-day event on 15-17 October.

While Lanark's Alister McRae will enjoy the backing of a big home support, Darlington's Guy Wilks, who won the inaugural event last year, won't be short of fans.

RallyScotland will form the penultimate round of the Intercontinental Rally Championship, won last year by Irishman Kris Meeke, who will be returning to the Scottish forest stages.
