Rain forces new date

WATERLOGGING forced organisers to scrap the Scottish Universities’ Team Championship at Moray Golf Club in Lossiemouth yesterday.

While the individual events were completed earlier in the week, the team phase was unable to get underway and has now been rescheduled for September.

The next event on the varsity golfing calendar is the British Championships, to be held at Dundonald Links on 13-15 April.
