Radzynski hits debut hat-trick in Leith win

LEITH started the better of the two teams, creating some half chances, while up at the other end the Strollers also had some opportunities without troubling home keeper Gordon.

The Strollers managed to get themselves in front after good work out wide by Dickson and his cross, only half cleared, fell to Alan Wilson who finished from close range. But Leith responded with Steven Radzynski scoring two goals in the space of five minutes.

The first was from close range to complete an excellent passing move and his second came from an unlikely source, Neil Ewart showing some fancy footwork to get his cross for Radzynski to execute a neat flick which flew past Strollers keeper Ramsey. In the second half, Leith were very much on top with Campbell replacing Irvine and it was his super through ball after evading two Strollers defenders which set up debut boy Radzynski for his hat-trick and he duly obliged, finding the top corner from 20 yards.
