Primary kids having a ball

AROUND 150 children from Bonaly, Longstone and Pentland Primary Schools enjoyed an afternoon of football and fun at the Tesco Bank Football Challenge session at Meggetland Sports Complex.

The Challenge is a four-year community programme run in partnership with the SFA. It introduces football to Primary Two and Primary Three children and gets them engaged in a healthy and active lifestyle. SFA coaches have been working with the Edinburgh schools for the past six weeks, while over 15,000 children across Scotland have been involved in the programme in the last six months.
