Ayr's Damien Kelly is back in the squad as captain after a toe operation, but starts on the bench; Frazier Climo is still in New Zealand waiting for his visa. Scott Forrest starts at centre with Mark Bennett moving to the wing, Stephen Adair takes over from flanker Paul Burke and ex-Hawks prop Nick Cox starts. Melrose make one change to the side that beat Currie, lock Brodie Runciman coming in for the injured Gary Elder.
