TENNENT's Lager has made a rare foray into English football to become the shirt sponsor for Preston North End. The brewer has agreed a three-year, £1 million deal with the Championship side.

Tennent's is already the shirt sponsor for Rangers and Celtic but has not been involved with English football since its support for the Charity Shield in the early 1990s. Preston have had many Scottish players and managers throughout their history.
