Premier Cup

HOLDERS Heriot's shrugged off an interval deficit to defeat Dundee HSFP 36-21 at Mayfield to stay on track to defend their Scottish Hydro Premier Cup crown.

Prop Wullie Blacklock emerged as the unlikely hero of the second-round tie as he snatched a try double. The other Heriot's counters came from Colin Goudie, Marc Teague and Jason Syme, with Greg Rutherford adding the rest with the boot.

Lindsay Graham and Andy Dymock claimed the Taysiders' touchdowns, while Barry Jones landed three penalties and a conversion.

Heriot's will now face Premier 2 pace-setters Stirling County away in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
