Peterhead wait for Polish clearance

PETERHEAD have put their two Polish signings on standby to fly in for tonight's CIS League cup visit to Forfar. The Second Division club last week captured goalkeeper Michel Kula and striker Konrad Kozminski but are awaiting international clearance.

Manager Steve Paterson said: "We are in regular contact with the SFA as we work to get international clearance from the Polish FA. We have put both players on standby to fly to Scotland in the hope that they will be here in time to play although as time goes on it is more difficult."

Former Arsenal keeper Jim Will, who has been out of the game and is now in the police based in Aberdeen, has been signed as back-up.
