Penicuik want to finish off the job this time

Penicuik host Kilwinning in a Emirates Scottish Junior Cup first-round replay tomorrow having come within a whisker of winning the tie at the first time of asking.

Penicuik were awarded a penalty in the dying minutes last weekend and, although Dean Walker missed from the spot to leave the score at 1-1, they are confident they can finish the job and secure their place in the draw for the second round on Sunday.

Co-manager Bryan Ryrie said: "In the last few weeks we've started to gel together with good performanaces. Tomorrow we have to guard against complacency. We have to make sure the players don't fall into the mindset that the game is won already.

"Kilwinning will look to produce a better performance than last week. If they lift their game and we don't respond then we could be in trouble.

"Last week, in the last ten minutes, we went from being down and out, to in with a chance of a replay, to an opportunity to win the game outright."

Ryrie will give late fitness checks to Mark Robertson, Ryan Gay and Craig Meikle.

He added: "We'll give them to the last minute before we make any decisions."
