Penicuik edge fine thriller

The game started at a frenetic pace and Edinburgh opened the scoring in the ninth minute.

Lumbert Kateleza outpaced the Penicuik defence to slot home past Bald.

Penicuik got back on level terms four minutes later when Richard Campbell headed home at the back post from a Gallagher corner kick. Then Dean Walker showed some delightful skills to chip the ball twice over defenders and volley home in the 21st minute. However, former Penicuik player Scott Montgomery scored with a pile driver in the 34th minute to level the scores. Kateleza was then red-carded just before half time for kicking Campbell.

Penicuik took the lead again in the 51st minute when Dean Walker tapped home a Robin Hay cross from close range. Then Dean Thornhill levelled the score direct from a free kick. Charlie Brigain got the winner for Penicuik from the penalty spot.
