Peebles 24 - 28 Jed-Forest: Hat-trick help

THREE tries from Jed’s David Gobby turned this game around, writes Stuart Cameron.

The home side had gone into a 14-0 lead with tries from David Paton and Adam Clark, both converted by Neil Warnock. Then on 36 minutes Gobby struck with two quick tries.

A penalty from each side after the interval, from Warnock and Andy McLean, made it 17-13.

Gobby got his third and David Grieve added another, this time converted by McLean, who also kicked a penalty. Peebles reduced the margin via an Alan Warnock try converted by brother Neil.
