Parks keeps up hot streak as Glasgow beat Ulster

GLASGOW coach Sean Lineen heaped more praise on Dan Parks as the stand-off kicked 20 points, including four drop goals, in the 25-18 victory over Ulster at Firhill.

The victory keeps Glasgow's hopes of making the Magners League play-offs very much alive and Lineen said: "Dan Parks's game management was again outstanding, The match was messy at times, but we showed terrific character to win it and there were some very pleasing points.

"Ulster got tore into us from the start and we struggled for momentum. There was some pretty hard talking at half time, and I'm proud of the way they responded."

The win takes Glasgow into third spot for the time being, three points ahead of Edinburgh and Munster and a point behind Ospreys.

Glasgow now look forward to a huge match at Firhill next Friday against league leaders Leinster, who edged Ospreys 20-16 in last night's top-of-the-table clash in Dublin.
