Paget glee at signing Clee

EDINBURGH CITY'S leading goal-scorer, Steven Clee has signed for East Seniors Central Taxis First Division promotion contenders Vale of Leithen, writes KEITH ANDERSON.

The striker has been with the Premier club for three seasons and was capped by Scotland at Semi-professional level in the Four Nations tournament in Wales in 2008.

Rab Paget, the Vale of Leithen manager, said: "Steven was a much sought-after player who adds experience to my front line. Promotion to the Premier Division has been our ambition since day one and in my opinion our ten league games remaining are all cup finals. I reckon that to gain promotion we must win at least eight of them. Bringing in Steven will, hopefully, help us to achieve our objective."

Clee could make his debut for Vale on Saturday when they are away to Eyemouth United in the First Division.
