New date set for Alba Cup final

THIS season's Alba Challenge Cup final between Queen of the South and Ross County, originally set to be played last November at St Johnstone's McDiarmid Park, has been rescheduled for Sunday, 10 April at the Perth ground.

The date marks the first anniversary of County's 2-0 Scottish Cup semi-final win over Celtic. For Queen of the South, it is two days short of the third anniversary of their Scottish Cup semi-final win over Aberdeen. The sides have also rescheduled their twice-postponed league match at Palmerston Park for 19 April.
