Musselburgh race meeting falls victim to freezing weather
Monday's meeting at Musselburgh has been abandoned due to a frozen track.
Clerk of the course Harriet Graham was due to inspect at 9am on Sunday but was able to make an earlier call after temperatures dropped as low as -5C.
She tweeted: “Racing abandoned, -5C no prospect of a thaw, temperatures only to rise to 1C today.”
Musselburgh’s next meeting is on New Year’s Day.
