Murray off to winning start at Castres

Scott Murray made a winning start to life with Castres Olympique when he helped his new side to a 33-28 success over Pau in a pre-season friendly.

The 34-year-old international lock has made the short move from Montauban to be reunited with his former coaches Laurent Travers and Laurent Labit. The clash with second division Pau was the first of three preparation matches for Castres. Murray's new club has aspirations of reaching the knockout stages of the French Championship this season.
