Moutain Biking: Scots trio given GB call in world title tilt

Three Scots have been named in the Great Britain team for the forthcoming Mountain Bike World Championships - Mark Scott of Musselburgh and Lewis Buchanan of Innerleithen in the junior ranks, and Ruaridh Cunningham in the elite.

Defending champion Tracey Moseley will also bid to repeat her downhill success at the event in Champery, Switzerland, from 31 August to 4 September and is joined in the team by 2009 men's champion Steve Peat. Cross-country is the only mountain bike Olympic discipline, with Liam Killeen and Oli Beckingsale named in the men's team last month, David Fletcher and Kenta Gallagher in the Under-23 squad and Annie Last in the women's Under-23 squad.
