Prize-money has been boosted by £16,000 from last year to £66,000 and the feature race is the Class 2 Tennent’s Cup Handicap Hurdle over two miles with a prize fund of £20,000.
This has been rewarded with an 11-runner field headed by Nicky Richards’ brilliant hurdler Glingerburn.

Monbeg River, an eye-catching winner at the track on Monday, goes for the Procast Building Contractors Handicap Chase with Henry Brooke riding for Martin Todhunter.
Meanwhile, at Wetherby, race fitness could give Dynaste the edge in a wide-open renewal of the bet365 Charlie Hall Chase, writes Glendale.
Dynaste will be ready to roll after a warm-up over hurdles in France three weeks ago, and the David Pipe-trained horse undoubtedly has the talent to triumph.
