Mo Farah pulls out of Glasgow Diamond League event

BRITISH Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah has pulled out of this weekend’s IAAF Diamond League event in Glasgow, according to reports.

The long and middle distance runner was due to compete at Hampden Park on Friday but will no longer be competing.

The reason for the 31-year old’s withdrawal is not yet known, though he is still expected to compete at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the same city later this month.
