Men's hockey: Scot out of UK side for Malaysia

Former Inverleith striker Stephen Dick, now playing for English premier league side Reading, has been forced to withdraw from the Great Britain squad for the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia over the next two weeks.

Dick sustained some bone bruising after being hit on the knee in the EuroLeague quarter-final tie against Belgian side HC Dragons and GB coach Jason Lee had decided not to risk the Scottish Internationalist.

But Dick should be fit for the EuroLeague semi-final against Madrid side Club de Campo, having made a significant contribution to Reading reaching this stage for the first time.
