McCulloch demands more

LEE McCULLOCH has urged Rangers to prove they can challenge on all fronts by securing the points against Hearts tomorrow following their Champions League triumph.

The Light Blues earned a 1-0 win against their Turkish counterparts Bursaspor at Ibrox on Wednesday night - just a few days after fighting back from 2-0 down to win at Aberdeen.

They now face another tough away match in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League tomorrow and McCulloch admits the fixture schedule is getting tougher for the league leaders.

He said: "We had the game on Sunday and then the Champions League game and I think everyone was getting a bit leggy in the last 20 minutes or so.

"Bursaspor had an extra day and a half recovery compared to us after having their game on Friday night.

"We've got a game tomorrow to look to now. It does get a little bit tough but we're going to have to deal with it.

"It's a massive game, Hearts away is always a tough place to go but we'll be looking to get a win there."

The win over Bursaspor was Rangers' first in seven European matches at Ibrox.

Next up is the visit of Valencia in Glasgow later this month and McCulloch was asked if it was a good time for another home game.

"I'll tell you after the game!" he said. "I hope so, the system is working really well. As long as we play the way we did in this game, we will be there or thereabouts."
