Max doesn’t need room for big head

MAX Chilton has no intention of following the rest of Formula 1’s “Brit Pack” and quitting his Surrey home for Monaco.

Chilton will make his F1 debut for Marussia in Australia on Sunday, joining Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Paul Di Resta on the grid.

The trio have all now made their homes in Monte Carlo. Chilton, however, intends to stay true to his Reigate roots, rather than follow the jetset.

Asked about a move, he replied: “That’s when you’re a high-rolling F1 driver. I love Reigate. I really hope F1 doesn’t change me.”
