Maori triumph

New Zealand Maori beat the touring Argentina Pumas 43-24 yesterday. Roger Randle and Bruce Reihana scored two tries each for the hosts.

Italy began their tour of South Africa by going down 42-11 to the South African Barbarians.

Meanwhile, South Africa have dumped Andre Vos as skipper and appointed No8 forward Bobby Skinstad as new Springbok captain.
