Manyrivers in the right flow

ALAN King feels Manyriverstocross has the right credentials to take top honours in today's totesport Trophy at Newbury.

The five-year-old has won two races from four starts over hurdles, including a Grade Two at Sandown, and is considered by King to be on a lenient mark for his weekend assignment.

"Novices do well in this race because the handicappers have not really had time to get hold of them," reasoned the trainer. "Manyriverstocross is an improver who could be off a good mark."
