Maggert shares lead with Every

VETERAN Jeff Maggert joined overnight leader Matt Every on top of the leaderboard and two shots ahead of the pack after the third round of the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Maggert, 47, signed for a six-under score of 64 to reach 12-under for the tournament and was alone at the summit until Every birdied on the 18th green to join him. Johnson Wagner, Brendon de Jonge and Charles Howell III were all on ten-under.

Inverness rookie Russell Knox missed the halfway cut after two 70s.
