Ludeke is sure Bulls are best

FRANS Ludeke insists his Bulls side and fellow Super 14 finalist, Stormers, were the two best teams in this season's competition and are in their rightful place ahead of today's Soweto climax.

The clash in the Johannesburg township brings together the best defence in 2010 against the best attack, while the two South African sides are also the two that ended the regular season in positions one and two in the table.

The Pretoria Bulls, winners of the competition in two of the past three seasons, are unbeaten at home since defeat against the Hurricanes in 2008, but they are not playing at their regular Loftus Versfeld Stadium this time around. Instead, the Orlando Stadium in Soweto is their new home for the play-offs after their usual venue needed to be handed over to world football governing body Fifa for next month's World Cup.

"It is good to know that we have already had an experience in Orlando and it has become our home town for the next week," Ludeke said after the 39-24 semi-final win over the Crusaders last week. "

I think the two best teams in the competition are playing in the final.

"What is going to count on Saturday is who defends the best and who attacks the best and, more importantly, which side uses their opportunities. Nothing else counts."
