Lothians girls get call-up

FIVE Lothians youngsters have been selected as part of the Lloyds TSB Scotland Under-15 Girls' football squad who will represent Scotland for 2011.

Forrester High pupil Lizzie Arnott and Jennifer Currie, of Preston Lodge High School, will line up in the 18-strong squad which will travel to Cardiff in early April to compete in the annual Four Nations Tournament along with Wales, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The duo are joined in the squad by Christie Kerr of West Calder HS, Kayleigh McConnell of Deans Community High School, and Alyshia Walker of Bathgate Academy.
