Longmuir holds on to his four-shot lead

SCOTLAND'S Bill Longmuir is poised to capture his eighth European Senior Tour title after hanging on to a four-shot lead going into today's final round of the Handa Senior Masters at Stapleford Park.

He followed his opening nine- under-par 64 with a 69 yesterday to stay on course for a first victory since the 2008 Barbados Open.

"I am feeling confident, largely due to the work of my good friend Michael Wolseley (the ex-European Tour professional) in the United States," said Longmuir. Ross Drummond (71) is six shots back on seven-under, with debutant Andrew Oldcorn also lying inside the top 20 after a second-round 69.
