Lolly for Dolly team bullish about Curragh chances

The Oratorio filly is unbeaten in two starts and looked in superb nick when winning the Athasi Stakes on her last start.

Along with Tommy Stack's charge, Godolphin's Mahmood Al Zarooni has also supplemented his new French recruit Anna Salai.

"All has gone according to plan with Lolly For Dolly and she seems well and looks well," said Fozzy Stack, the trainer's son and assistant. "We've not done much work with her since her Curragh win as it was only two weeks ago.

"We are hoping for the best and she won her trial easily so deserves to take her chance.

"I don't think that the ground is an issue and it will be fine for her as it won't be any quicker or slower than good. The trip is also fine as she won over an extended mile on her debut so that isn't a problem. If she finishes in the money it will be a good run."

Mick Channon's Music Show is favourite with Paddy Power after her good run in the Newmarket version. She did best of all the fillies drawn high in the Classic, in which Jim Bolger's Gile Na Greine rattled up the rail to finish third. The pair reoppose and Channon believes Music Show has improved since her last run.

"Music Show hasn't done too much, she came out of the Guineas in good heart and has certainly improved since Newmarket," he said. "She's fit, well and on course for the Curragh.

"We feel she stands a great chance although we are at the mercy of the weather as I wouldn't want the ground to be too soft for her."

One high-profile absentee is Luca Cumani's Seta, among the favourites at Newmarket. She was another who appeared to lose all chance by being drawn on the wrong side. Sir Michael Stoute's Tabassum is another missing from the list.

Aidan O'Brien has his usual army engaged in the Classic, with Famous, Full Of Hope, Lillie Langtry, Queen Of Troy and Remember When all possibles.

Kevin Prendergast will be looking forward to seeing the unbeaten Termagent return to action, with Dermot Weld's Betrah another interesting contender.
