Lobban and Stewart carry Scottish hopes in squash finals

Greg LOBBAN (Inverness) and Rory Stewart (Crieff) were left to carry home hopes in today's finals of the Scottish Junior Open squash Championships at Heriot-Watt University.

Following the shock exit of Edinburgh top seed Dougie Kempsell in the quarter-finals, Lobban, the No.?2 seed, kept up the chance of a rare Scottish victory in the boys' under-19 Championship.

The 18-year-old won an all-Scottish semi-final clash 11-3 11-6 11-4 against Aberdeen's Ally McCorquodale and now meets Canadian Tyler Osborne in the final.
