Less for 'More as Kyles make last four

KYLES may have been the losers in the 2009 Camanachd Cup final but yesterday they secured their passage into the last four with a brilliant 6-3 victory over Newtonmore.

Norman MacDonald's men saw off 'More on the way to last year's showpiece and history repeated itself yesterday with victory.

Captain Roddy MacDonald played a large part with a double. Colin MacColl also grabbed a brace with Thomas Whyte and Dunky Kerr rounding off a fine afternoon. Newtonmore scored through Scotland international David Cheyne (2) and Danny MacRae but it was a disappointing day.

In the other quarter final, Inveraray defeated Skye 5-1.
