Lennon fired up for the 'greatest derby in the world'

NEIL LENNON claims he will again experience the "greatest derby in the world" when Celtic take on Rangers at Parkhead tonight.

The Hoops' interim boss will see for the first time what an Old Firm encounter feels like from the technical area as he looks to strengthen his case for getting the post on a permanent basis with his seventh Clydesdale Bank Premier League win in succession.

Rangers are already crowned champions for the second successive season but Lennon is hoping to finish the campaign on a high. "I love Old Firm games," the former Celtic captain said. "When you win, it is fantastic, when you lose it, the aftermath is horrific.

"That's the uniqueness of it. It's one of the best-selling things we've got in Scottish football and for me it is the greatest derby in the world, there is no doubt about it. There is something really special about it, the ingredients and the side-shows that come with it.

"I want to win. But does it make it extra special or sweeter because it's Rangers? Probably, yes."
