Leith finish with a flourish

LEITH ATHLETIC finished off their East Seniors First Division campaign with a 3-0 victory over Hawick Royal Albert.

With 33 minutes gone, the visitors opened the scoring against the run of play. A Chris Beaton free-kick broke into the path of Martyn Wallace who found the net with a well-struck drive. A minute from the interval, Leith increased their lead. Andy Milligan swung over a cross and Greig Irvine drove a shot past Hawick goalkeeper Gavin Watson.

In the 71st minute, Leith completed the scoring when Steven Radyenski latched on to a long ball to fire home.
