Leitch the toast of Preston Lodge in thriller with rivals

GREG LEITCH was the hero as Preston Lodge fought back from 19-6 down to defeat local rivals North Berwick in a National Three thriller on Saturday.

The visitors went ahead 7-0 at the Pennypit thanks to a converted try by Peter Littlefair and in a tight first 40 minutes the only other scoring came from a Leitch penalty for the home side.

After the break it was soon 7-6 following another Leitch kick, but North Berwick then turned on the style to run in two tries through Grant Craig and Adam McNair to go 19-6 up.
