Leaders Alloa complete the set against Stirling

ALLOA made it a four wins out of four over Stirling Albion this season as the injury-hit league leaders showed their resilience again with a 2-1 win at Recreation Park.

Stirling took the lead in seven minutes when Chris Aitken crossed and Andy Graham nodded in from five yards out, but their advantage lasted only four minutes. Alloa midfielder Gary Carroll thundered in a drive to level and after both sides pushed for a winner Walker rose in second-half injury-time to meet a corner and head home.

Second-placed Cowdenbeath went behind early to Clyde when Jordan White scored with less than a minute played, however they hit back to win 3-1. The hosts equalised through Paul McQuade before John Robertson scored in 64 minutes with McQuade heading his second 18 minutes from time.

Dumbarton jumped over ten man Stenhousemuir in the table with a 2-1 home win. The Sons opened the scoring through midfielder Scott Chaplain. But the Warriors equalised with 25 minutes to go when Willie Lyle rifled in a shot, but Lyle's joy was short-lived as he was penalised for a foul on Chaplain just three minutes later. Chaplain netted the winner from the penalty spot before Gary Thom was dismissed.

Peterhead eased their relegation fears by defeating East Fife 3-1 at Balmoor.
