Law is ready for India test

ROOKIE professional David Law will have Ryder Cup player Edoardo Molinari among his rivals when the Aberdonian tees up today in the first round of the £790,000 Hero Indian Open.

The 20-year-old double Scottish champion, who last week failed in his bid to qualify for the second stage of the European Tour Qualifying School, has earned an invitation for the Asian Tour event through his new management company, 4Sports & Entertainment.

“The Indian Open has a long history and it would be an amazing way to start my professional career with a win,” said Law of his appearance at Delhi Golf Club, which comes just a few weeks after he became the first amateur to win the Northern Open in more than 40 years.
