Lamont out of hospital

GLASGOW winger Rory Lamont was taken to hospital for scans after he was injured and stretchered off during last night’s match at Murrayfield, but he was later released and said to be in “good shape” by his team’s management.

However, it is unlikely he will be fit to take part in the return match at Firhill on Sunday.
