Krawczyk reveals title fears

Scotland junior women’s volleyball coach Vince Krawczyk fears his team’s success at international level could hand City of Edinburgh an advantage in the title race.

Krawczyk’s club side Troon PA are unbeaten at the top of the table, but City of Edinburgh and Edinburgh Jets are breathing down their necks.

The fact that six Edinburgh players starred for the Scotland junior team which booked a place in the European “C” Championship finals in Malta last weekend will help the Capital cause. “The players will all have learned a lot in Malta about what it takes to play at this level,” pointed out Krawczyk, who doubles as Troon and junior international coach. “The fact Edinburgh had six players in the squad will also help their team.”
