Kolloss top of class in Loretto victory

LORETTO strolled to victory in the Independent Schools' Home Internationals, winning by 31 shots in this year's event at Celtic Manor.

The Musselburgh school was represented in Wales by Carol Kolloss, who came within a shot of equalling the record for the Montgomerie Course with a first-round 69, Max Walz, Marvin Aurnhammer and Nic Rey. They had a winning total of 445, well clear of runners-up Millfield, Coleraine and Monmouth.
